Welcome to Cub Scouts Pack 3
Highlands Cub Scouts Pack 3 serves the San Mateo, CA Highlands (and surrounding neighborhoods). We’re a member of the Pacific Skyline Council that serves all youth on the San Francisco peninsula.
Any youth who is in K-5th grades (5 to 10 years old) are welcome to join Cub Scouts. Boys and girls are welcome to join regardless of their background, race, religion, or gender. Cub Scouts is open to all who are interested in learning and having fun in a safe and supportive environment. If you're interested in joining, please contact us or join.

Our Dens
Pack 3 is made up of groups called "Dens". Dens represent the ranks within the Cub Scout program. Dens are made up of Scouts who are in the same grade level (whenever possible).
In Pack 3 we have the following dens represented.
Lions (Kindergarten)
Tiger (1st Grade)
Wolf (2nd Grade)
Bear (3rd Grade)
Webelos (4th Grade)
Arrow of Light (5th Grade)

Activities & Adventures
In den and pack meetings, Cub Scouts make new friends, play purposeful games, and learn new things. Pack 3 dens usually meet once a month. Regular Pack 3 come together on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30pm at the Highlands LGI for a pack meeting.
Throughout the year we also:
Go camping & hiking
Race in the annual Pinewood Derby
Lead the Highlands 4th of July Parade
Attend special events (Scout Overnight, SF Giants Game, Toy Drive)
